Eric & Anne Moore - HCJB Global Print E-mail

Eric & Anne Moore have been serving with HCJB in a variety of roles since 1972.

HCJB Global work with partners in over 100 different countries around the globe to reach people for Christ through mass media and heathcare ministries.

The gospel is broadcasted in more than 120 languages and dialects. Thousands of our healthcare patients are meeting Jesus. Nationals are being trained as missionaries, pastors, broadcasters and healthcare providers.

eric_anne_267x200.jpgEric is the Executive Director for Euro-Asia which covers all countries from Ireland in the west to Maritime Russia in the east, covering the former Soviet Union (now Russia and CIS) and Central Europe (formerly eastern block) as well as Central Asia.

Eric’s main responsibilities are to build a strategy for the development of mass media and healthcare within Euro Asia, provide servant leadership, develop the team and mentor younger people to take over the region and sub region, as well as recruiting new staff. Since Eric took over this job in mth/year two additional couples have begun working in the region with a third couple to join us in May this year.

Anne provides valuable assistance to Eric in the form of administration and correspondance as necessary and works to encourage the women.

Mass Media

Present ministries on the mass media side include radio planting, radio training classes, satellite downlinks reaching across 11 time zones in Russia, with radio broadcasting into prisons, hospitals and drug rehabilitation centres. Much recent effort has been placed on Central Asia where 0.01% are evangelical, also the Balkan states, where we have just signed partnership agreements in Croatia, Bulgaria and Moldova, some of Europes most needy countries. We seek to reach the 15 to 35 year-olds, and will use all the newest and latest technologies like Podcasting and Internet Radio to do this.

Healthcare

On the healthcare front we partner with an organization in Ukraine to help complete construction of an elderly care and hospice centre (6-8 beds) which will then more easily facilitate a feeding programme, rehabilitation, training and hospice care, as well as provide accommodation for staff and work teams. At present ‘mercy ladies’ feed 50 elderly people twice each week with a goal to feed 150 when the centre is finished. We continue to look for ways to develop the ministry through healthcare.
